TWO MONTHS TO GO!
We just hit the two-month countdown for the first Air Race 1 World Cup event, which will kick off the historic international formula one class air race series!
The planning is going well and competing teams have mobilized around the world preparing their purpose-built race planes with the latest and greatest engineering updates to improve race performance. This week seven airplanes from the USA are being prepared for delivery to Monastir, Tunisia, the site of the first set of races. Other teams from Europe are to follow soon, making the most of their final days in their home base hangars to put the final touches on their new innovations and modifications.
The Air Race 1 team is proud to be working with our host organizer, TAV Airports, and in allegiance with the Tunisian government to showcase Tunisia as the wonderful and enchanting tourist destination that it has been for generations.
The event will be held on 7th June 2015 at the Monastir Habib Bourguiba International Airport, which is an important arrival hub for access to the gorgeous resorts that line the sandy beaches between Monastir and Sousse that have welcomed millions of vacationers from Europe, USA and beyond.
We join Monastir Airport in welcoming fans of all ages to witness the exciting action of real air racing in the Air Race 1 World Cup, before heading to the next destination in Lleida Spain on 28th June.
