About Yves Clarke

Former hang gliding and paragliding enthusiast Yves Clarke made his Air Race 1 debut in Thailand in November 2017.

Clarke suffered a big crash during a paragliding competition in 1997 and decided it was time to fly for real.

The British racer, who currently lives in Devon in the South West, flies an outrageously  modified Cassutt IIIM.

Born in Croydon near London, Clarke is no stranger to the controls of a plane having flown International Airlines.

Clarke is a graduate of the Pilot Racing School in Reno and flew in his first race in Reno, 2017
