AIR RACE 1 WORLD CUP RELEASES 2015 CITIES AND DATES

The Air Race 1 World Cup has revealed the locations and dates of the first international series of formula one class air racing competitions, which will take place on three different continents in 2015.

The Air Race 1 World Cup will hold its first event in Monastir, Tunisia, on 7th June 2015. This will also be the first-ever formula one air race on the continent of Africa. The event will take place at the Monastir Habib Bourguiba International Airport situated between the popular Mediterranean tourist resort cities of Monastir and Sousse. The event will be hosted by TAV Tunisie, an affiliate of TAV Airports, one of the world’s leading airport operators.
The series will then return to the site of its launch last year in Lleida, Catalunya, a scenic destination in the north east of Spain at the foot of the Pyrenees Mountains. The Lleida-Alguaire Airport, operated by Aeroports de Catalunya, will host the Air Race 1 World Cup on 28th June 2015 under the patronage of the governments of Catalunya and Lleida.
The Air Race 1 World Cup will end its 2015 season at the famous Reno Air Races in Reno, Nevada USA, where the Reno Air Racing Association (RARA) will host its 52nd annual event in which six different classes of air race, including the formula one class, will hold their final contests on 20th September 2015. The hugely popular Reno Air Races will entertain an audience of 200,000 devoted fans.

The Air Race 1 World Cup is sanctioned as the top international title in the sport of formula one air racing by the three official associations based in USA, UK and France. Each event will be covered extensively by global media and the television program will be available in almost 100 countries.
