Racing at the Air Race 1 World Cup in Thailand has been rescheduled for the afternoon.
Racing at the Air Race 1 World Cup in Thailand has been rescheduled for the afternoon on Day 2 due to a visit from the King of Thailand Maha Vajiralongkorn Bodindradebayavarangkun.
The King, a qualified fixed wing and helicopter pilot and keen aviation enthusiast, made a flying visit to U-Tapoa International airport during the Air Race 1 World Cup event.
Jeff Zaltman, CEO of Air Race 1, commented; “Thailand have been incredible hosts throughout the whole event and we are honoured to be here.”
Racing will continue this afternoon as scheduled with both Silver and Gold races and places for tomorrow’s semi final set to be hotly contested.
