The beautiful Catalan city of Lleida, also known as Lérida in Spanish, was host to the first ever Air Race F1 competition on 1st June 2014.

The modern Lleida-Alguaire Airport was the venue for the historical first international Formula One air race, which showcased the extraordinary skills of some of the world’s best and fastest pilots. The air race took place amid a range of other exciting entertainment including an aerobatic competition and thrilling air displays, plus plenty of fun on the ground!
